VEPro - 2 machines? Is it possible

So I've found myself in a position where I'm having to write in both Cubase (my preferred) and Logic. Is it possible for me to have a template loaded on my PC in Vepro and have it playable on either Cubase (on same pc) or on my mac? I expect this is straightforward enough with either being used...

    CUBASE USERS

Is it possible to have a separate key editor window that only shows expression maps? I can hide the expression maps so I can see my parts clearly but I was hoping I might be bale to have the articulation lanes open on another screen so they don't have to be tiny..... Any ideas?

    Avengers Infinity War - Mockup.

Thanks. Panning was one thing I was paying closer attention to when making notes on the actual recording. Most of the ost mix is on the dry side to my ears but feels very wide, the brass in particular. Interestingly, it seems AS uses an unconventional layout when recording (there's 2 tubas-...

    Avengers Infinity War - Mockup.

Hi folks, not typically in the habit of posting things like this but since we're in lockdown, I had a little more time on my hands. I was redoing my template and thought I could kill two birds with one stone and have a look at the orchestration of one of my favourite cues from the Avengers...

    New SCAN 3xs 3XS TBX299- thoughts ?

I'm looking to get a new pc and my eye was caught with the 3XS TBX299. I've tweaked it to have larger storage and more ram. I use cubase, pro tools and vepro and it would be for a mix of orchestral and audio work. I'll probably use my current machine as a slave and split some of the sample...

Yeah it really is. I just spent 4 hours using it to trigger a synth and it put down patterns that I could never play on keys. The editor is simple and intuitive. Choose what note you want each quadrant to be and save. Can have all the same if you like. Choose which cc data gets sent in addition...

The mount fits like a glove and holds it solidly in place. I'm very impressed with this bit of kit- it's responsive, sleek, nice to the touch, doesn't have any false triggering and can send cc data.

    Keith Mcmillen BopPad

I'll post a pic shortly....its wafer thin so it actually works quite well/quietly sitting flat on a desk or if playing hand perc type stuff, placed on the knees. The mount itself is solid and fits on am 8mm thread.

Adam, That is bloody great! I have also done a version but totally different philosophy to you. I thought they were looking less for originality and more rearrangment. I did mine off the back of catch the Hans Zimmer live tour and thought about how it might sounded had it been part of the...

    Delivering stems

Hi Folks, Pardon my ignorance...Im delivering stems next week and was wondering if I could pick the collective brains? I've been working in reels and there is anywhere between 4 to 10 cues on a reel. The first couple are pretty densely written and some of the later reels have large gaps...

    RGW Wonder Woman

I'd also say that there's one scene I remember which I assume has the cue Lightning strikes which is expertly close to the temp and there's at least one forum member we (should) thank for inspiring it!

    RGW Wonder Woman

I've not seen the film yet (since they finished it) but I saw it with the temp. In isolation the temp had a whole bunch of my favourite modern score but I'm glad they went in the direction they did as having heard the music, it entirely nails what I remember imagining.

I saw this at airport and considered it during 16 hours of in-flight films. Whilst I agree there is a prevailing trend of non-memorable melodies, I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as some suggest. An interesting aside, I gave feedback on a big budget first cut recently which still has...

    Hans Zimmer Live on Tour!!!

To be honest, I'd have been severely dissapointed if it'd been the typical orchestral concert. For me, the tracks played lend themselves to nothing less than large soundscapes. The lighting was equally as good- and one of the best I've seen. The use of streamers and punches was superb. And...

    Symphobia price reduction...what to buy?

Hi Mark Firstly, both are very good libraries and are more flexible than I first thought. If you're going for one of the two, I'd recommend Symphobia first given your intended use. The multis are particularly useful for writing quickly and are arranged by theme- action, suspense etc.
