Very nice theme! I like the flute, sounds really good. The trumpets in the end do sound a little synth-like to my ears, but that could be just me

Any idea what makes them sound like that? Is it the samples, or something about the way they're played? The instruments are all BBCSO.

The durations are all the same. The dynamic levels are similar but there's a bit of variation.

Wow this is really good. I love the instrument choices it all fits the scene perfectly. There's so much story and adventure happening in your piece. Impressive.

How strictly should we take the 90 second max? If the last note of orchestration is at 90 seconds, but then the reverb tail goes longer, is that ok?

Historically no it’s not ok. I’d make sure everything is done at 90 seconds. You can speed the tempo a couple bpm possibly

No that would not be allowed. The time you see in your media player or if you right-click the file and look under "Details", the duration should say 1:30 at the highest.
