Nucleus legato?

The solo instruments are amazing. The solo flute is better than the solo flute in spitfire studio woodwinds, but doesn’t have the same artics, so I still use them both. Basically my point is that the solo instruments in nucleus are worth the purchase, I wish they had more than what they included but no complaints otherwise.

Thank you very much for your answer, Akarin!

I can empathize with your string library addiction, as I am on a similar trip currently :)

I have just watched your other string library comparison on your YouTube Channel - awesome work, this should be a sticky thread here! I am sure this will help many people in their decision process.

Coincidentally, like you I also just got Century Strings and am in love with the beautiful timbre of the longs. Wonder how coherent / balanced this and the Brass will be once version 2 with the positioning tool etc. will be out.

Also a big compliment for your compositions - beautiful! I've read you saying on another thread that you consider yourself not advanced enough to balance / "handle" SSO. You underestimate yourself - I will be very happy if my compositions / mixing skills will be on this level one day.

All the best from a fellow Swiss

(Sorry for derailing the thread)

Hey Nico,

You never revealed the other library in your first example :-) Knowing you, I have a feeling it is Spitfire Chamber Strings, but I do want to hear if I am right or if not, what library that was? Love the detail in the second example 🙃
Hey all. One of my main gripes with Jaeger are the legato bumps. For example, here's an example of Jaeger legato on violins at mid dynamics (followed by the same example using another library):

Could anyone with Nucleus share an example of the naked violins legato? My finger is on the buy button but I don't want to get it if this hasn't been worked on as I believe the samples come from Jaeger.

Thanks!
