@audioimperia so when upgrading Areia (and Jaeger) will I loose all articulation keyswitches of a song? And what about the Areia arpeggios/rythms?
Jaeger doesn't have as many articulations as Areia so the sections are NOT broken into 2 patches. Areia does have the articulations per section broken into 2 patches now with the update. If you're referring to the measured tremolo patches for the violin and celli with the sequencer , those are still there. The Arts patches can be seen in the new walk through video

Does anyone know, if I purchase the Jaeger bundle, will I later qualify for the crossgrade discount off Nucleus?

TIA

Sales through NI do not qualify you for a discount at Audio Imperia. You have to buy Jaeger through Audio imperia to get the discount on Nucleus. The NI deal is your best bet at the moment. Breakdown of cost to you with different options: NI deal Jaeger bundle $399 + NI deal Nucleus = $698 / NI deal Jaeger bundle $399 + Nucleus Audio Imperia later $449 = $848. NOTE*** Purchasing Nucleus at Audio Imperia will give you a discount on Areia so that is something to consider as well. I hope this helps with your decision.

Thanks Paul

Nucleus was $379 last Black Friday. I really dont NEED any of them but the bundle deal is too cheap to pass and I like to support companies who go out on a limb with heavy discounts, especially given the quality of these products vs the price

Can't say for Jaeger but for Areia you have to re-adjust them mainly because they split the multi-articulation-patch into two seperate patches (basic and advanced articulations). And the keys for triggering the articulations are different compared to version 1.0.

We haven’t sent out many yet. Saw that some people are experiencing slow downloads so we didn’t want to further overload the servers. But they’ll be going your way as quickly as possible. Just want to make sure you’re all having a smooth download experience :) Thanks again for your patience!!!

Hi @audioimperia ,

I was just checking, no rush, I prefer having a smooth download experience, and no missing files, or other issues once I have a library installed.

Looking forward to enjoy using the new Jaeger, and Talos. I already installed Areia 1.1, and I like the new GUI. will be testing it more today.

Thanks.

Played around with the bundle a bit. Not really complaining, but if you have Cerberus, Areia and Talos, I'm not sure what Jaeger really brings to the table besides the vocal and a limited amout of trumpet articulations.

This is why I'm finding this bundle to be a bit of an awkward collection. Having both Talos and Cerberus seems to render some of the brass and percussive aspects of Jaeger redundant, so it's like this bundle is kind of at odds with itself. Maybe I just need to do some more research into what these libraries offer though, this is just how I felt when I saw them bundled together. And even if this is the case, this is such a good price that I really can't complain either way.

Same, once again you really can't complain for the price, but I A/B'd the Talos stuff with the Jaeger brass and yes, they seem pretty much identical. I guess you are getting more articulations with Talos, but perhaps there is more to it than that, would be curious to hear what AI have to say.

Yesterday I built a VEPro Cubase template from Areia, Jaeger, Nucleus, Talos, Cerberus, Legacy and Trailer Guitar 2. The VEPro Template is about 66 gb (all activated) and consists of 10 instances, arranged by instrument groups.

Areia and Talos replace the complete String Section, Low Brass and French Horns from Jaeger and Nucleus, but with more articulations. Cerberus and Jaeger replace the atonal percusssion from Nucleus.

There's a lot of redundancy. Whoever has all these libraries might say there is too much redundancy. But if someone buys only Nucleus and Areia, for example, it looks different again.
The bottom line is that the optimal variant would have been the same bundle with Nucleus instead of Jaeger, and then Areia extra on top.
On the other hand, if you look at the price, the bundle is a damn good deal, where only LowBrass and the Horns are redundant, but with Talos you get much more articulations. For example legato for the 12 Horns.

The bundle was still worth it, because with Nucleus and Areia and the bundle you have a very complete sound package that covers many styles. Not only in the epic trailer area, but especially there.

Very good are the performance patches. These and the legato patches together are a good basic framework with the most important basic articulations.

At the moment the Nucleus Update with the performance patches from the Lite version is not so important to me anymore, because except for the Woodwinds everything is available in the bundle and Areia.

The only thing that makes the work with the VEPro Template and AI Libraries a bit complicated is the variable sampledelay.

So I need 2 VEPro templates, one tight and one loose. This is unproblematic to solve with VEP. But in Cubase it is a bit cumbersome, because when I record something, it is with the tight settings. With -125 ms samplestart it is a bit difficult to record a track. It's difficult for me anyway. So I start with samplestart 0.

To get the best possible sound I later load the loose VEPro template. This works in Cubase without problems because only the linked instances are loaded. This does not require any changes in Cubase.

But the trackdelay has to be adjusted manually for each track where necessary. Unfortunately Cubase does not offer the possibility to change the trackdelay for several tracks at the same time. I don't know how this is supposed to work. This is not so extreme with other libraries or if you use only a few tracks of AI libraries.

Hey guys! we’re working hard on delivering the updates to you, but all the set up work takes a bit of time.

Thanks in advance for your patience!

Hey AI!! I am holding my horses now and waiting to buy the bundle once you give me the green light for the fix. Or do you recommend to buy now but without downloading anything yet?

Wait, if you buy the bundle now you don't get the updated version right away?

The missing vocal patch issue has been fixed. The fixed version went up on Friday.

So what updates are you talking about AI?

Not all of the products that are available in the sale had previously been available with NKS integration and made for the free Kontakt Player. Those are the updates we are referring to. The libraries that had already been NKS ready were Nucleus and Areia, the libraries that we’ve updated are Jaeger, Talos, Trailer Guitars 2, Legacy, and Cerberus.
