Also, I see that LASS Lite is $199 now, so it’s hard for me to justify yet another string library. I am tempted by Abbey Road One at the current sale/upgrade price if I were sure that they had more distinct legato than my copy of Albion Legacy. I also thought about the new Abbey Road high strings as well, but at some point, I think it’s best to just wear what you have!Oh, OK. Well, hopefully you will be able to accomplish this with libraries you already own. I picked up the lite version. It sounds terrible OTB, but with some inspirata reverb, it can sound pretty good. With the current $99 sale I figured everybody had it by now lol. I wonder if soaring strings and 8GL could do the trick? I don’t have soaring strings. Good luck! I’m curious to see where you land. It’s a beautiful sound.
LASS lite is actually 99 USD if you check out first with their freeware Silver in your cart. Also, I see that LASS Lite is $199 now, so it’s hard for me to justify yet another string library. @ScarletJerry All the examples you've posted are in the higher register, so I don't know if the following can be useful to you, however check the tone (it's CSS version 1.5 - the "old" version):
(1:56 you can hear high strings. At 2:20 V1/V2/VA soloed in octaves)
Thanks again for doing this. Very interesting. I’ve always liked the demos of Afflatus, but it’s always been out of my price range.Well, that was Albion, NSS, Afflatus, LASS if this helps.
I think that you may have nailed it!an example with 8dio Century strgs:
(actually there's also a couple of patches from Anthology)

Thank you! Not at the computer right now but I will gladly post the mics choice later onVery, very, nice! May I ask what mics you used in CS?
Big thanks for that, interesting to see! I removed everything but mix B, which felt like a good compromise for me, but now I'm not sure anymore!
