I had three as reverb busses for different instrument sections. I had to replace them.
I do have to note though that Studio One seems to have issues with quite many plugins causing random CPU spikes, so it may just be due to my setup combination. Most plugins cause no grief, but the ones that do either crash very frequently (UJAM does this truly a lot) or cause the spikes whenever I try to use them.
I guess you must be talking about a PC ? I'm using C15 with the latest. Air and not had any problems CPU load on M3Max is low

I'm looking to get a good reverb. However, this thread makes me concerned about the Air Studios option (although I understand a bug fix will be released soon).

I have all three of these. Air Studios Reverb has a history of introducing new bugs with updates. Some are minor, some are showstoppers (like the one with the most recent version), so buying this plugin is a gamble. When it works, it sounds great though.
Berlin Studio is rock solid for me, and you can easily run 10-15 instances on even a moderate system. Spaces II is also very good and stable here.
If I had to choose, I would pick Spaces II simply because it is more versatile (a lot of spaces to choose from). However, if you don't need that versatility, Berlin is a very solid choice.

If you want a good reverb, all three fit the bill. If you want a good reverb THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY USE, choose between Berlin Studio and EW Spaces II.
Of the two, both are great. Berlin Studio is focused on a single space - Teldex Studios in Berlin. But it goes into a lot of depth in that space (especially if you decide to get the Pro version, which has free positioning). Spaces II takes a different approach. Instead of focusing on a single space, it includes many different spaces - different concert halls, churches, etc. It's quite versatile in that sense. Within each space, they've also recorded a number of different impulses, so it has that flexibility as well.
I recently compared the Air and Berlin Studio; I needed such reverb for Berlin Woodwinds (Sine version is "cleaned up" from the room). And even though my entire orchestra was recorded in Teldex, I preferred the Air (I didn't use the full version's features) because it sounds amazing. It sounds surprisingly cool on synthesizers; I even liked it better than with Cinematic Rooms.

Also Air Essentials better than Berlin Studio Standard, because besides the orchestral section presets it have just Hall presets, so it can be used on everything, not only on specific orchestral sections.
Also I have EastWest Fantasy Orchestra, and heard Hollywood Orchestra alot, and I must say, I don't like it all. I don't know if Spaces are really good.

I’d put Berlin top, then AIR, then Spaces - but Spaces is actually $69 at AudioDeluxe and Best Service, so don’t overpay.
I've never had any bugs with AIR studio are you using PC?
Yes, Cubase 14 on Win 11.
Nope, Mac-users have reported the exact same issues. Did you try to export the reverb channel with the GUI open vs. closed, for example? Easy to miss in a busy mix.

I have full Air and Berlin. I rarely use Air. It seems very temperamental on my system (M2 Ultra Studio) and I find any project that has an instance of Air in it becomes unstable (though I haven’t been able to explicitly pin the problem to the Air reverb), so I use it only sparingly. Berlin Studio is the main reverb I use for sitting dry instruments.

AIR Essentials sounds amazing. I haven't used Berlin Studio since I got AE, don't even think I have it installed anymore.

You don't have any stability/performance issues with AE like @jbuhler mentions above? I have SSO and Spitfire Solo Strings, so AE does sound like an attractive option to get other drier VST's into that space, but if the thing keeps crashing and causing chaos, then maybe I'm better off getting Berlin Studio.
EDIT: Mind you, I'm on a PC, and it sounds like @jbuhler is on a Mac. So, perhaps Macs just struggle more with this plugin.

No, but then I only use reverb when I'm making mockups and that only happens once in a blue moon
Last time was back in June and that was with Air Essentials, there were no problems at that point at least.
I reloaded the project file just now to quickly test if it was gonna crash Cubase on playback or something like that but it played back fine.
I'm on PC also and my use case is minimal btw. - I add one instance as "glue" at the end of the chain and that's it.
So all I can say is I'm happy with Air Essentials. But I also read the reports in here of people having problems with it (on Mac ?)

I am very curious where the cause of people's problems is coming from. I run Nuendo 13 on Windows 11 and have 9 instances of AIR Studios Reverb in my template and have not had problems since the last update, no crashes, no glitches, zero. I also don't find it's CPU heavy at all and I am running on a 10 years old PC.
