I would be extremely surprised if they go from ARO High Perc to High Strings without the selection first.

I kinda expect brass before strings, but either way, the last Selections were released March and June of last year. So it feels like they are in the "Modulars" phase of the pipeline now.

I’m still expecting high strings selections to come out before ARO strings, partly as a test to see how folks like them so they have time to make adjustments, partly as advertising for the big library.

Yeah this is 100% ARO Violins 1. It's definitely not anything like AR high Percussion.

I don’t think you’re ever going to get that. I hope I’m wrong, but violin legatos in AR would likely diminish the sales of the modular sections. I could assemble a workable orchestra out of the expansions if I only had the high strings, but something tells me that Spitfire isn’t going to let me have the AR sound that cheaply. Again, I really hope I'm wrong, dead wrong.

They won’t be just a section of violins. They’ll either be violins in octaves or both sections of violins, maybe with violas in unison. Albion One gave us both, but I doubt Selections will. And as with Albion One the ranges will be quite limited, far more limited than what will be available in ARO sections.

Even that would be welcome, but what makes you think it is coming? Did I miss an announcement?
