I have all of Embertone's solo strings, and the ISS set are good, but Josh Bell is really in a whole other class. It may be the most perfectly crafted sample library I have ever played with.I just installed the JB Violin.
WOW!
It's magic.
I'm afraid that's hard to do. I don't know of a more universally praised sample library than the Joshua Bell violin.Darn it.
Joshua Bell and Blakus for $246.70
Sigh - someone talk me off the ledge
I'm afraid that's hard to do. I don't know of a more universally praised sample library than the Joshua Bell violin.
Blakus on the other hand, while being a standout product, seems a little closer to the pack. I'm not sure there's a clearcut winner between it and Cinesamples Tina Guo Cello or VirHarmonic Bohemian Cello, for instance. In light of the current sale, however, it's currently the best priced product in that class.
Best,
Geoff
Had ~ $150. to spend. JB Violin and somebody's toolbox were final pair. Chose the toolbox and feeling Buyer's remorse.
Not such a bad choice; just knowing JB Violin is such a solid longer-term alternative.
Toolbox?
I believe he's referring to Spitfire Audio's British Drama Toolkit.
I thought it was $199 if I'm not mistaken (for the entire 200GB).Is the new grand piano on sale? What’s it’s normal price?
