[Resolved] Albion One Stephenson's Steam Band GUI Broken

This look means your UI file can not be found. With Albion it is hard to tell you exactly whats going on because it already had so many updates. Could be your update folder stacked funny and you are working with old instruments but using a newer library file or the other way arround. Could also be that during installation you did a batch resave on the whole library somehow melting new files and legacy files to the wrong UI files.

Now with Albion... the first few updates did keep the legacy articulation patches and probably introduced your library folder with a second set of UI-library files, probably named the same as the old files.

So your patches could be trying to acces the wrong library file. If you do have two sets of instruments, one thing you could try to do is a fresh batch resave.

This involves some trickery when there are multible versions of library files involved. But is easy to do.

For that to work properly, and to make shure the right files are paired together you first need to rename the main library folder to something different, that way kontakt no longer can find the samples and wrong files while loading a patch.
Now If you have two sets of patches, clearly seperate your Instrument folder in something like: Instruments V1 and Instruments V2. And copy the right library files into each folder. (Two files each nkc and nkx, if they are somehow in the same folder maybe you can sort them by date?)

Now all you have to do is two separate batch resaves in Kontakt. Each time select only one of the new Instrument folders V1 or V2, not the main library folder. That way only the selected patches and files get reconnected.
It will ask you for the sample locations, here you can just select the samples folder, if it asks for the UI files (nkc nix) select the Instruments folder were you have moved the library files to.

This should theoretically work to undo messed up batch resaves and wrong folder paths.

Edit: If you ever only had albion One to begin with and never did any updates or have legacy files, then a normal batchresave should fix this.

Thank you for your replies. SA got in touch and actually it's an easy fix (if anyone else has the problem).

Go into the Scripts folder and delete every file ending in .nkc
