First we complain about excessive marketing and never ending "coming soon" and now this?!!!Nothing on the homepage. Nothing on YouTube. No social media posts. Is this launch for real?
That was my reaction as well.OMG, glad to find this thread. I received an email from Spitfire thanking me for my purchase of 'Spitfire Symphony Orchestra 2024' and my first thought was credit card fraud lol..
I’ve never complained. I love marketing hype and believe CH was a born genius at it.First we complain about excessive marketing and never ending "coming soon" and now this?!!!
Out of the blue? No warning?! No guerilla?! No teasing?!!
Most likely. The product page seems to be a bit of a work in progress in general, for example the main section about strings only mentions CTAO mics but the "What's included"-list includes Leader as well.I'm assuming brass and woods do infact come with the performance legatos as it says it in description but looks like they may have accidently left the performance legatos out of articulation list for brass and woods.
Ah very very very welcome surprise!!
We are pleased to announce the relaunch of Spitfire Symphony Orchestra today (22nd Feb) at 5pm GMT, now an all-in-one, out-of-the-box orchestra featuring Strings, Brass, Woodwind, and now with the addition of Percussion, Piano, and Harp. Available at launch for an introductory price of £399 / $499 / €449
Explore the famous samples and performances of London's incredible musicians from Symphonic Strings, Brass, Woodwind, Spitfire Percussion, Spitfire Harp, and Orchestral Grand Piano, all captured in AIR Lyndhurst Hall, in their orchestral seating positions, delivered inside a brand new UI, plus all-new legatos created by Andrew Blaney, all presented in Native Instrument's Kontakt 7.
Customers who already own Symphonic Strings, brass, woodwind, and Spitfire Percussion will shortly start to receive the new product for free. The deployment of this will take a few hours and should be complete before 5 pm GMT.
For all other customers who own any, but not all of the above products, there will be simple crossgrade pricing for you to upgrade to the new library. At launch at 5 pm GMT, make sure you are logged in to see your pricing.
Walkthrough, patch list, and demos will all be available on our website at 5 pm GMT.
Wishing you all the best,
The Spitfire Team
Ooh... that is less promising...This seems to be an only version of SSO available at this moment. No more extra mixes, or ribbon/alt and gallery mics that once were included in pro version.
