Lost in Cyberspace
For all us Reason users it looks like we're finally getting an update. And it's a good one.
I use Reason mostly as a Rack so I'm liking the new instruments and devices. Nice sounding OBX inspired synth has been added. Still wish they'd put the time into upgrading Thor. Thor would be killer with a lot of the new improvements in modeling technology.
Useful tools too. A lot of them I have in Rack extensions. The stereo widener and the Gain tool at least seem like they are just reskinned versions of the Kilohearts freebee RE. Interested in the Side Chain one though.
As far as the DAW itself, the new sequencer might even make it usable for me.
Last but not least that new delay, Ripley Delay, looks killer. An advanced delay with all the routing the Reason is famous for. I use The Echo a lot so this new one will be a lot of fun. Sounds amazing too.
All in all seems like Reason is going in the right direction.
