In the past few weeks, while pondering about how an internal Reaper articulation manager should behave, I come up with a simpler and straightforward tool for inserting KeySwitches to MIDI items. Of course there's tack's awesome Reaticulate out there already, but I was looking for a simpler and straightforward tool with some extra features.
So, here's ReaKS!
Have a quick look:
ReaKS utilizes Note Names feature of Reaper to set itself up automatically, so it's refreshingly easy to prepare your track.
Some quick features:
- Adding/removing KeySwitch notes into the MIDI editor over a UI
- Tracking active KeySwitch under playhead
- Visualise KeySwitches on Arrange View (over Text Events)
- Note Name Injector for blazingly fast setup
- Focus and Alias CC event lanes
Here's a crash course how to get it going:
Installation:
- Find it over ReaPack
- The action will be added to MIDI Editor section
You can find ready-to use note name maps (and a donation button) here:

I hope someone but me finds it useful!
Cheers,
