Question about studio monitor speakers...

I recently bought a keyboard and need monitor speakers.

I am considering these:

This may seem like a stupid question but can I just run a 1/4 speaker cable from my keyboard's L output to the 1/4 L input of the Left speaker, and a 1/4 speaker cable from the keyboard's R output to the 1/4 R input of the Right speaker?

This may seem like a stupid question and I feel like I could be overthinking this, but I'm a bit confused by the purposes of the options passive outputs.

Can someone tell me if they're supposed to be hooked up some other way?

Nevermind. Just saw the back of the second speaker is passive and is dif from the other

Yep, one speaker has the amp in it and that’s where you hook up both your 1/4" inputs. Then, there would be a (maybe/probably) proprietary cable that hooks up to the back of that active speaker and goes OUT to and IN To the passive speaker.
