Same. Generally, i was hoping for less vista II and more Pacific (and maybe some fluid shorts 3). Still, everything sounds amazing, i just need another String Library like a hole in my head, so i am tired of all the Vista trying to tempt me.

I have ended up hovering over the "Buy Vista" button yet again. It happens to me like 4 times a year. I've resisted for a couple of years because I already have CSS, Hollywood Strings and Pacific (and Sample Modeling Strings).
Someone please convince me not to buy it. I fear I'll not last this time.

Here are a few things to consider:
A) Jasper might delete Vista from the store. He's done it before...
B) What if there's a nuclear war and all developers die? You sure won't be able to buy Vista after that right?
C) What if you have an accident and lose your hearing? You can still buy Vista, but you won't be able to hear those gorgeous strings.
D) You only live once...

I’d say if you earn a living via sample libraries go for it - otherwise you already got so many options and, well, Vista II (aka there are always more libraries coming out)
. I’ve get PS, CSS, CS2, NSS, and Vivid Strings. Too many options haha

There is a demo on youtube comparing CSS legato with vista strings. They sound pretty similar.

I CAVED. I'm a weak human! I bought Vista and Caspian.
I played around with them briefly just now and the demos don't convey the juicy buttery goodness of actually playing them.
They definitely feel like your driving in a Ferrari the smooth goody juicy feeling they have is premium quality.

I've sort of regretted both Vista and Pacific. I never clicked at all with Vista, and I find Pacific maddening (though it has many elements that I like). I am convinced, however, that Performance Samples strings are just not set up for me. (I really like the Oceanias though.)
