Norðrljós (Jeremy Soule/Skyrim inspired track)

You are definitely close with the vibe and instrumental colors (using Requiem like he did helps).

This doesn't feel like it's structurally there yet, though. Jeremy was mostly writing in very clearly defined forms in that score, using two or three very strong ideas. I would focus on achieving a similar sense of thematic unity and forward motion. Right now, you've got some nice ideas that just kind of hang around.

I think it sounds great, I love this soundtrack and I think you've done a great job nailing the specific sound.

The one thing I'd recommend is maybe automating your tempo track to slow down during the transition from idea to idea so the music breathes a little more.

This is super minor but if you can control the legato speed transitions, I would try to slow them down as well and maybe slow down the attack and the release of the notes (so they fade in and out more), but that could just be a personal preference.

Great job! Did you shoot the visuals in Skyrim yourself?
