It's not the greatest, but it's quite nice, especially for its size. I haven't used the updated version that takes advantage of their new sample player (I used the Kontakt version for a video game track long, long ago), but I did noodle around with it for a bit when it was first released earlier this year. I have other libraries that cover this that I have been using (pretty much VSL Dimension Strings, VSL Elite Strings & VSL Synchron-ized Chamber Strings), but I may use them on a project at some point just to see what they're capable of in this day and age of sample libraries.

FYI, East West is releasing Hollywood Strings 2 April 25th. Something else to consider.

Wait till it's at least 50% off (or more). It will likely be there within about a year.
