I tried getting into sync about 7 years ago, but wasn't able to land one until 2021 (through a music library for a show on OWN). Lots of patience, lots of submitting, no responses. I joined a platform called HRDRV last year and got a couple EDM placements with Riot Games for their live gaming broadcasts. Payouts were around $500 each, which is more than I've made in publishing in 2+ years. If anyone is looking for more collaborators or more sync opportunities outside traditional libraries, I definitely recommend HRDRV. I've also had some success with Musicbed.
