Kontakt 6 on Cubase 10

Even empty instances of Kontakt need RAM. IIRC in K6 for the first instance it's about 150-200 MB of RAM, but for every subsequent instance it's around 70-80 MB of RAM. But even with that, 80 instances should be around 6.5 GB of RAM...

Not sure about the CPU load tho. Every DAW will act differently here.

I watched one of those Blakus videos and that guy has at least 100 enabled kontakt instances running on a way less powerful computer than mine in Cubase. I mean - w.t.f? 😂
I wonder if I’m doing something terribly wrong...
 
I’m going on a last resort thing here and update my board’s BIOS. Fingers crossed.
 
Regarding CPU Load, have you enabled ASIO Guard?



Mentioned in the middle of the video. It's an essential feature for me as well.
