Yeah, it sucks. I learned some interesting stuff on those boards.
But on the other hand I've probably never seen a single thread there that didn't have at least one deleted post. I can imagine what a pain it must've been to moderate those boards.

I spent some time on the IMDb myself back when I got really interested in how films were made. I have some good times there, but mostly I think of the boards the same way Obi-Wan thought of Mos Eisley spaceport.
