Obviously CH knows the full story, but I think a couple of the featured Pianobook artists publicly said they were removing their libraries (Skyscape Paradise and Venus Theory to my knowledge) in the wake of the issue, and CH removed his so as not to be a “distraction” for Pianobook.

On a mountaintop with his doggo, walking through airports, having a beer. I've spent hours with this guy, but have never spoken with him. What a beautiful way for things to turn out.

This is going to be worthy of the hype, I suspect. Genius fire doesn't go out. Brilliant.

Olivier Robert-Murphy became their new company director on 12 June this year. He was previously Executive Vice President at Universal Music Group GB. Whether he will assume the same role as CH is unknown. I would say it’s impossible to fill CH’s shoes as he is unique and had a big creative and positive impact on the direction of SA.

Oliver Robert-Murphy was appointed director and CEO, so don’t know if he’ll have any creative input. There have always been other directors in the background at Spitfire who we never heard about (Paul Kempe and Michael Warriner), so Paul Thomson may be the main creative voice going forward?

Yes, I hope he can bring this kind of content back. 2017-2018 were amazing years for the composer community, thanks to Christian's effort.



One of the few genuine individuals in this industry.
