Production advice

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if you would please give me some tips on the production of this track from both a sequencing and mixing standpoint??

I have never had a good mixing setup but I'm finally working on a nice pair of monitors and this is the first thing that I have mixed on them. It's very new for me.

I need to revisit the sequencing and edit some of velocity crossfade levels that I feel are far too high, especially on the strings and the low brass. I would love to know any other issues that you can hear in the production and sequencing?? There are some real violins and violas in the first half too.

Any feedback would be really appreciated!

I have to say the mixing is excellent (although I didn't get an opportunity to listen through monitors, but I have been using monitor headphones). Also, welcome to the forum!!
