Hi all,

I'm looking to part ways with my PC. I purchased it a couple of years ago as a server/slave machine to allow me to keep my Mac Pro 5.1 as my main DAW. However, the set-up has proven to be a little overkill for my current needs.

The PC would make a great DAW machine, or could be used as a server machine. It is built to a spec similar to VisionDAW machines in the US, but was build here in the UK by Scan Computers. It uses a pretty rare motherboard which has a 10GBe connection, allowing for high bandwidth/low latency connection between Host and Server machine, and although it only has one CPU you could potentially add a second.

Processor: Intel Xeon E5-2690 v4 14-core

Motherboard: Supermicro X10DRH-CT

RAM: 128 GB – (4 x Samsung 32GB DDR4-2133 ECC Registered Server Memory CL15 1.2V)

Case: Fractal Design Define XL R2

Cooling: Noctua NH-U14S

PSU: 1000W Corsair RM, Modular, Silent 80PLUS Gold

Graphics: EVGA GeForce G 210 Graphics Card - 1GB (or some other kind of basic graphics card)

Boot Drive: 256GB Samsung 850 PRO

Windows 10 Professional

I paid a little over £5,000 for it two years ago, and am looking for around £2800 + shipping. I think that is a great deal! Let me know if you have any questions.
