What is THE most realistic orchestral mockup you've ever heard?

I know with my family and friends, they usually can't tell the difference between a live recording a most mockups,
but I'm sure there are plenty here who have good ears for hearing the sort of nuances that come with orchestral mockups.

But what is the orchestral song that had you stumped when you learned it was made with sampled instruments?

For me, it's probably the official Hollywood Strings demo Allegro Agitato which can be heard here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxNFYNjRYd8

I think this one may be hybrid of live players and samples... but I can't hear ANY samples in this song.

So what sampled orchestral tracks have blown you away with their realism?

Mojo Madness by Mr. Bergersen. There might be others as well but that is the only one that was confirmed to be a mock-up. It's really getting difficult to tell, which I think is pretty fantastic. The main difference now is in the performance, a live orchestra will breathe and flow in a way that no samples can, and probably never will.

An awfully big adventure by TJ was pretty spectacular: https://www.sample-modeling.com/Demos/An_Awfully_Big_Adventure.mp3 (https://www.sample-modeling.com/Demos/An ... enture.mp3)
I'd also like to throw in 'Raise the Atocha' by Colin O'Malley for consideration.

The work done by Jay Bacal is unparalleled.

An awfully big PHEW! from me on this one - it's very close. +1

Actually, Alex Temple definitely deserves a mention in this topic. Here's my favourite mockup of his: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Y8rPtu698U

For all the stick EastWest get, they do have some of the best mockups ever created, and not all by TJ.

Another of my favourites is Sam Dillard's 'Eternity Rising'. I preferred it with the video but it's been taken down, we'll have to settle for crappy soundcloud :( https://soundcloud.com/samostudios/eternity-rising - perhaps not quite as perfect as some of those previous, but certainly an up-and-coming mockup artist and phenomenal writing.

Sherief Abraham and Piotr also deserve mentions.

Sorry, I know it was only meant to be one, but there is truely some outstanding work out there.

Perhaps the better question is "What is THE best sounding orchestral mockup you've ever heard."

If memory serves me, Mike Verta did a mockup of a piece some time ago where I think most of us agreed that another guy's mockup of the same piece was perhaps more "realistic" but we preferred Mike's because it was just more pleasing.
