because they will be nks-compatible.

Many companies are making their products nks ready to increase reach.

This is great for costumers as in many occasions this results in this kind of NI-sale

Cool! I've seen (and bought into) multiple NI sales for other vendors who made Kontakt instruments. Had not previously noticed any sales for non-Kontakt instruments. (I don't own anything from U-He and honestly thought they were Kontakt instruments.)

I think it really depends how many of the instruments you really need/want and already have.

If you take into account the usual 50% off deals and the really generous uvi vouchers for me not really an interesting deal.

Mostly to start of things (and thats where most of the companies seem to really put their target on today....if you once bought something.....) its a good deal.

I am not sure if this will be good for uvi on the long run cause their very generous vouchers together with the deals stand out rewarding customer loyalty, and this for me is the contrary (and the usual thing today....).
 
Does anyone else think that eventually all NKS 2.0 compatible plugins will work like Kontakt does with the MK3 keyboards (i e. no Konplete Kontrol wrapper required)?

I really think that Konplete Kontrol 3.0 will eventually be phased out once more devs update their products.

I would love to have UVI Workstation, Spitfire Players, and EZDrummer/EZBass working just like Kontakt.
 
I wonder if these will end up in a Komplete bundle like other companies products have done in the past. Super annoying when buying a separate product which ends up in Kontakt. Has happened too many times for me.

The only stuff that ends up in Komplete are products from the NI stable, which includes PA and iZotope.
UVI aren't in that stable and there are many other NKS partners that sell bundles via NI and they never appear in Komplete.

I hope so. One example I can think of is Mallet Flux by Sonuscore which ended up part of Komplete.

Pretty tempted on the UVI bundle as there's a few nice sounding ones in there.

That was always sold via NI as well as Sonuscore I suspect, which is a different thing.
It's not an NKS partner product but a collaboration.
 
It looks like a pretty decent bundle. Not as good as the Image line UVI power bundle that was done a while back. That came with most of what this comes with and more, I would have been tempted by it if I did not already have the power bundle.

If you are talking about the vouchers you get from uvi once a year for shopping at uvi's own site, they are not that generous, as it is always more expensive to shop there instead buying from other sites, plus the wrong currency conversion, so even with the vouchers it is more expensive to buy from uvi directly
 
Ahhhhhh! Ok, if you go into your UVI installer app if you click on certain libraries you'll now see NKS Installer! Boom!!
