Zebra Legacy or EW Forbidden Planet?

I'm trying to spend very wisely going into BF, so I would be curious to know what others think? Which is the better option/deal for cinematic hybrid scoring synth duties?
Forbidden Planet for $134.06 or Zebra Legacy (Zebra2 with all soundsets...including Dark Zebra) for 99€.

What is Forbidden Planet?
Nobody knows, because it's a forbidden planet (nobody has gone there)... :P
(not saying it's a bad product, not at all... just teasing with the productname)

But ehm.. to answer the OP, Zebra (1, 2, and/or dark zebra) is the only answer.

Hmm…. Seems like people are evenly split on this question. Ha ha!

I don’t have either myself. But I wonder if someone does have FP, do they think it’s better than Zebra? This discussion is getting a little one sided, just wondering if there’s any brave souls who will make an argument in favor of it. 🤔

No doubt, judging by the responses, Zebra is amazing. But I'm also wondering how many people here actually own or have spent time with Forbidden Planet. It's a newer library. Zerbra2 has been around for a long time.

I think of things like Forbidden Planet or any other sampled synths are more about speed and playability. They are far less customisable being samples, but what you get out of the box is normally great to use with little else needing to be done.

So I think the reason for owning Forbidden Planet or Zebra 2 are different depending on how you want to work and your needs.

I will say that Forbidden Planet will be 60% off for most of the year, so there is really no hurry with that.
