not sure - just from what I recall from the previous chat with them as it was a noticeably different time to when the daily item would be added (which tends to be around midday PST time) - and at that time it could well be some automated process to change it at the end of the day (PST time) which makes sense if you're saying it would end on day x (like the sale items end on day x - best wait to 23:59 before removing them to avoid any complaints).

I spend way too much time looking at this sale... :)

It would not hook as much if 8dio didn't have THAT many interesting products so every day could be the perfect item showing up. I could spend $5000 there without having bought anything unuseful.
But as I saved at least $400 with that cool NI KOMPLETE 13 update deal (get it at no cost if registered a 12 in september), there is some budget left.
 
Yeah - I totally get that. I've bought century brass (solo and ensemble) to go with my BBC Core, and they kindly gave me requiem pro instead of the intimate strings. That filled a gap. Now just holding out for insolidus - but the 66 series and the frame drum is really tempting for the more epic sound. I can hold off for now, but my wallet is seriously afraid as to what tomorrow will bring.
 
Komplete CE upgrade way too much for me this year .. will wait for next year sales as most of these new products my son does not really need right now

Roula is also on my list, sounds beautiful! But as I already grabbed Jenifer for full price (OK, with the bundler 30% cheaper), I can wait. If I had a wish it would be in that order:
1. 66 Tuba Ensemble
2. Insolidus (fits to my Silka)
3. Lacrimosa
4. Majestica
5. Claire Piccolo (I already have the Alto Flute)
6. Claire English Horn
7. New Century Solo Cimbasso
8. New Century Solo Flugel Horn (I already own the French Horn)

Enough material to have legitimate chances.

Still no new freebie, will it be the ultimate combination coming up? Now I am really curious! :eek:
 
Me too... although now I'm getting swayed by the ultimate 12 to 13 upgrade - hadn't heard of that until this afternoon. Too many options and not enough in the budget! If it is what we hope, I dont think I could resist though.

Then look for the thread "Komplete 13 half price" here in the forum. It is even better than half price when you are able to sell an existing version. I get the update from 12 UCE to 13 UCE for around 40 to max.100€ when I have sold my old 12 UCE Upgrade. Otherwise for 279€. But someone will pay at least 180€ for my old upgrade (K12UCE from K12U). You cannot get it any cheaper! Makes money free for great 8Dio stuff! ;)
My problem is now the SSD space as I need it twice on PC and notebook. Today I have filled 1 TB, still around 30 products of KOMPLETE 12 UCE not installed (I do not need them really). Where are the 4TB SSD-Deals? :mad:
 
yep - that will be my problem - saw that thread earlier today and already worked out at £250 I can sell off a few expansions and instruments and probably pay for it - may even make £50. So maybe the budget isn't the issue - the problem is fitting in the time to use it all!

Hybrid Tools Dark Prophecy

Not my wishlist as I am not after hybrid instruments, but the sub-bass sounds are really great, the demos sound promising. Somehow or other I will come over $200, so I will get it. Now is the time. :2thumbs:
 
And with the whole Legion series and Dark Prophecy freebie... I'm out.

Gotta save everything else in the budget to update my storage space for these new libraries and for if century woodwinds come out this year.

Troels, the only important thing here is: stay safe! The rest truly is a bunch of first world bs. I look forward to being able to share your CS2 ans DSQ dream but take all the time you need bro!

Really feel for you all Troels. So similar to the skies we had here in Melbourne during the massive 2009 Black Saturday Bushfires. I clearly remember evacuating our home expecting to return to a pile of burnt debris, but a strong wind change diverted the fires away from us when they were about 200m down the road. Truly terrifying. Stay safe and my thoughts are with you and your loved ones.

Was my goto for a long time, I lean on LAMP more often these days because the way they did things so differently from others fits my brain a bit better.

But these are amazing and at $38 a steal. I would actually STRONGLY recommend the frame drums, holy hell do they sound huge and cut through, haven't found anything that gives me the same feeling as those drums pounding away.

Can anyone who owns Soundiron's Apocalyptic stuff and the Epic Frame Drums comment on any overlap? I own Damage 2 and APE but I know the Frame Drums are highly thought of.
