What instrument is providing the attack here?

This feels like it may be a super-dumb question, but I'm genuinely having a hard time hearing what this is....

In the first 13-14 seconds of this track, there are some winds and strings playing slow chords. And at the beginning of each chord, there's something playing a single note with a sharp attack -- but what is it? Is it a harp? A plucked piano? Some kind of metallophone or bell? For me it genuinely rides the line between something struck and something plucked. Any ideas?

Wally, I like you, in addition to the harp, strings and woods, believe there may be an ethnic detuned percussive bell or mallet type thing going on at each beat as well... unless it’s an ethic harp discombobulating away!

Yes, harp! And thanks for reminding me of this classic soundtrack :)

Thanks, everybody. I am totally willing to believe it's a harp (or as enyawg suggests, an odd ethnic harp). I am not super familiar with the range of harp sounds and tend to think of the harp as "you know, that angelic gliss sound." Clearly I should listen to more harp music!
