The problem I have with Latin in libraries is that it's almost always church Latin, and a lot of people know what those phrases mean. (Or have an approximate knowledge, anyway.) It's weird to use "Kyrie Eleison" or "Dominus" or "Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti" in music that's meant to evoke a fantasy or science fiction universe -- or even our own universe, unless you intend the religious overtones. So I often find myself chopping up recorded phrases to avoid this and create nonsense phrases. But then why not start with nonsense syllables, a la Oceania, rather than syllables or words intended for known phrases?

(Now, if there were a library that used a bunch of unknown Latin phrases? Like Latin for "I am paying my taxes" or "How many roosters are there in this village?" I'd totally be down for that.)

I'd like to see a Byzantine choir library

I should have specified I was referring to created phrases from random Latin syllables, not hackneyed, pre-recorded phrases. (That's why I bought Voxos 2 -- lots of single syllables.) :)

A library with phrases taken from Catullus and Ovid would be a lot more interesting...
