Looking at purchasing a new audio interface, the Apollo Quad 8.

Wondering if anyone knows if there is the possibility of a student discount?

I would ask UA... it sticks in my mind that there is, but I may be imagining things.

I would guess that there's no discount on hardware but there is on software, but I don't know one way or the other. It would definitely be worth your while to talk with the salesman wherever you decide to get it, though. I know at Sweetwater, they have latitude to negotiate on prices for a lot of things, and it's absolutely worth asking. Even if they can't come down on the hardware price, they may sweeten the price of something else you need too, like some decent headphones, thunderbolt cables, or Komplete...
