I saw this pop up on Chris Siddall's streaming of Clear and Present Danger's The Ambush tonight, and looked it up since I'd no idea what it was.
No, it's not a piano that identifies as a celeste, but rather a microtonal mallet instrument, and very cool sounding as far as I'm concerned. I recognised the sound immediately from Billy Goldenberg's score to Steven Spielberg's Duel.
Anyone know of any libraries of it?
