Honestly, each big orchestral percussion library have really good Timpani samples but for different reasons.
Berlin Percussion's Timpani has a wonderful collection of Hits, controllable rolls, tempo sync'd crescendos, etc but it does lack in overall body to the sound. It can be a bit thin and lack luster in the low end.
CinePerc is the opposite of Berlin. It has a full bodied sound with a beefy low end but lacks articulations.
Strezov Sampling's Orch Perc library has an awesome sounding timpani, similar to CinePerc, but with less of the epic Sony stage sound. You can get really close with it as well as very roomy.
Spitfire Percussion's timpani is similar to CinePerc's but with a much more ambient, big sound. The close mics can get a more articulate sound but at the cost of sounding rather dated. It has some extra articulations which could be similar to Berlin Percussion's timp.
Timphobia by Modwheel is the best library for that extra secret timpani sauce. It not only has the basic articulations for writing timpani parts but they went the extra mile to incorporate the more eccentric extended techniques concerning what the timpani is capable of doing. I don't necessarily like it for purely orchestral music but it is certainly the best Timpani library when you want to get weird with the instrument.
