Is the idea that the professional versions of these will be both the base + expansions as a single product / single price? And that those of us with base but no expansions won't be able to buy the expansions as an upgrade anymore?
CAN I PURCHASE THE EXPANSION PACKS AFTER THE PROMOTION?
This is your last chance to buy these Expansion Packs on their own, as they are being taken off sale on Thursday 23rd August at 23:59 (BST).
They will be back as part of a Spitfire Symphony Orchestra Professional product in the future, to which a crossgrade will be available
Yeah. Can't even find an audio example.@SpitfireSupport I would really value some demonstrations of these expansion packs - for me the brass especially is appealing to expand. Weirdly enough I'm interested more in the stereo mixes than the individual extra microphones, since the amount of RAM required to use all the microphones at once is quite prohibitive. In something like CSS or BWW, there is a mix mic which I predominantly use, so I'm looking for an equivalent in your brass.
I've been asking around about this one for a while as I was also planning on getting it regardless. Someone indicated that you can hear the extra mics in Andy Blaney's demos on the standard SSB page if that helps.Yeah. Can't even find an audio example.
Are we suppose to just take their word that they are allegedly worth $449
I would imagine just the testing alone to combine libs for all three of these would be a colossal undertaking, with the sheer volume of samples we're talking about here. They make their products look simple on the surface, but that's the beauty of good design. Underneath there's a boatload of stuff there to get right.(broken link removed)
But I'm surprised that its going to take them till next year to release a professional version. Because the SCS Pro was just a base+expansion combined product.
