Spitfire people: BML vs SSW/SSB

I've noticed in the walkthroughs of the older BML libraries, that the outrigger-mics are included, while in the new "symphonic"-brand, they are not (only in expansion packs).

Are there any other differences going on under the hood? Same samples, new GUI?

Say f.ex Spitfire Audio - BML 101 Flute Consort Vol.1 VS the flutes in SSW?

I have noticed that a lot of users still use Sable and Mural, and I also know that the newest string-library from Spitfire is a repackaging with the same samples, while also adding the performance legato-patches etc.

So, any one out there who still want to use the older products instead of the newer repacks? Why?
