I've been trying to get a license transferred to my name for the past week. All the proper info has been passed on to them by the private seller. I emailed them and they said that it would probably be done by (last) Wednesday. I've tried reaching out to them since, but whenever I call, it just says that no one is available. I've also emailed them, but with no response. What gives?

Does anyone have any experience with trying to get a license transferred in their name? How long did it really take?

    Probably NAMM delayed it?

    Just stay on them.

I've never done a license transfer with them but Spectrasonics support has always been awesome.
I've always called, left a message and they called back.
    Good luck.

I've had nothing but good experiences with support. BUT... I have to say that I've read on the forums for years that license transfers seem to be an exception, they can and do frequently take an inordinately long time and communication is erratic.

Come to think of it I remember the same,be patient.I guess while they allow license transfers,it's probably not at the top of their list as far as priorities go.

Just got an email. They said the transfer should be completed today.

    Keeping my fingers crossed.

The “support” made me feel like I’d stolen the license, even though I bought it and could prove it. They took weeks to reply to my messages and wanted more info from me time and again.
And even though I’ve paid them for v2 upgrade, I got the secondhand license years ago, and the moog-thing I’m still not on a full license.

I’ve promised myself to never make business with spectrasonics again,no matter what they might release in the future.
    Silly? Probably.

Congrats on getting in touch with them.
Omnis. is a great synth, too bad the company sucks.

It took just over a week for me, don't be alarmed, they'll come through.

Plus they had NAMM, so there's that.

Thanks. They actually just added the license to my account, so I'm in good shape! I was just never able to get a hold of anyone whenever I called, as It went to a machine every time. Meh.
