[Solved] Old HALion and libraries install Windows 7 help, please

I'm trying to consolidate all the oldie-goodie stuff onto my 2009 Windows machine.

So I installed HALion 3 on it, and it's running fine. But...

1. The update on the Steinberg site to 3.5, the 64-bit version, is corrupted. Does anyone have it?

2. I installed the fabulous Scarbee K.G.B. electric pianos library, and all the HSB files (something like that) are there, but HALion won't open them. Also, the companion FX aren't showing up, but I think they're part of the library, i.e. not VST FX.

Any ideas about how the installation went awry?

Yes, I should look at the Pentium 4 XP machine I have it installed on and figure it out, but getting that to fire up is much more work than posting the question here. :)

TIA

I usually just threaten to slap the computer upside the head. It is amazing how quick they behave......

Okay, maybe it doesn't always work. But I really feel much better.
