--- Original Post ---

Hi all!

In some of my recent activity, I've alluded to an upcoming album of mine. Though there's still a couple weeks to go before release, I've recently posted a video documenting my evening (morning??) from a couple months ago when Musiversal recorded orchestra for some of this project! Also included in the video is a session of my own on the piano earlier that night for a different piece.

And here is a teaser trailer featuring just a snippet of each of the pieces!

Much more to come very soon :)

My album is now live! It is currently available to stream or purchase on Bandcamp, or you can watch the complete full video below.

I'll be more than happy to answer any questions here or on the video about the music and/or its construction! And feedback is most welcome :)

My album is now on all the major streaming services! I've also begun adding short snippets highlighting key moments to my SoundCloud. This means you can experience the album four different ways, depending on your time investment

In 30- to 90-second snippets on SoundCloud:

Track by track, like a typical soundtrack, on streaming services:

Full movements, telling a musical story, on Bandcamp:

The entire project audio-visually, for a deep dive into my seven worlds, on YouTube:

I've also added some info to my website summarizing the album's conception and purpose: https://www.timothy-schmidt.com/septemundos/info. If you're interested in more, watch out for walkthrough videos from me these next few months!

I haven't mentioned it this thread, but I do want to shoutout VI-C and its amazing user base for being a vital resource in my ability to complete this album! Before I joined this site, I was purely a notation guy - the information I found here what was got me into DAWs, VSTs, and all the mockup capabilities they offer :)
