Ram usage with multiple Kontakt or Omnisphere instances

    I understand that it is recommended to sometimes have multiple Kontakt instances for Logic as it spreads across cores better that way, but I end up having 50 or even 60 different instruments and they're all different Kontakt instances, will that eat up much RAM? How about with Omnisphere - will multiple instances of that eat up lots of RAM?

    Yes That too will take ram, and what i have found so far is omnisphere occupies more ram then empty kontakt without any library instance loaded... since omnisphere patches are not very big in size as compared to kontakt libraries but the point is they both occupy ram and it would be best to check your pc performance and ram usage during your sessions and see how well its doing , if its taking lot of memory and buffer then you might consider upgrading ram and replacing hdd with ssd drives... i hope it helps...
