Raising Monitor Stands

I recently bought a HAG Capisco chair, which I am loving; however the one caveat is that it raises my listening position about one foot higher than normal chairs.

I need a sturdy base to place under my speaker stands and position them at the appropriate height. It feels like this should be an easy fix, but I haven’t yet found an obvious solution. Cinder blocks would be great, but due to my room, that will be too much weight.

Curious to get any thoughts on materials or products that might work.

If you’re handy with wood, you could build some stands.

I’m curious why your room can’t use cinder blocks? That’s actually what I use. I have two under wooden stands I made. The cinder blocks help keep the stand from being top-heavy, plus I believe they are good at absorbing low frequencies from resonating your floor.
