Qualifications for studying EIS?

Hi Everyone,

I'm getting ready to schedule an interview through Lilith, but before I do, I wanted to ask if there are any general or specific qualifications needed in order to study EIS? I looked over the EIS website thoroughly and the Complete EIS Brochure but didn't see anything mentioned.

Maybe this is something Craig or any of you current students can answer?

Thanks,

Chris

fairly straightforward

The ability to read music (you don't have to be a sight-reader).
Be able to deliver assignments on some format, some use Sibelius other students use Finale. If you are not sure which to use you might ask your instructor which he/she prefers.

Be able o communicate, Skype, even telephone if that is not possible. A visual is preferable though.

previous knowledge of theory is not necessary but if you have some background you will find it useful in that you have studied a similar discipline.

that's about it

Thanks, Craig.

I do have one more question for you, if you don't mind. Based on what you mentioned, I've got all those bases covered. I'm just curious if there are any circumstances that would cause a prospective student to not be allowed to study EIS?

Thanks again,

Chris
