Has anyone seen this? Here’s the link. Not sure how I feel about a paid beta, but the reverb seems interesting. Any thoughts?

I love everything they do. Except this. With so many great reverbs out there, I was hard pressed to be impressed. However, I just listened to the presets, I haven't played around with any of the warping features yet. I might change my mind.

I DON’T love all they do, but this reverb sounds interesting. A unique reverb tail unit, with morphing glide between presets, it could be ideal for pad making.

Plus there is an extra discount until April 5th, gets it down to $79. I might jump :)

This is actually a pretty unique reverb. I own 4 different reverbs already but may jump on this one. There's some pretty unique features like the ultra-diffuse infinite verbs for pads and high quality long tails. The glide function too is pretty unique

I guess it all depends on your perspective.
I already have a verb that does those infinite tails and imho sounds better than Comet.
And after playing with the glide feature, it’s just not for me.
To me hearing the audio smear from one preset to another is the aural equivalent to seasickness.
However, I can see this being used in music similar to Hallucinogen and other psy types of music.
That’s why there’s so many different products out there, every one has its niche.
    And I don’t feel like it’s a waste of money, because I’m supporting a developer I love.

Well I tried the demo, great lush verb sound. But I hate the glide, would never use it. So the question is, if I already have Valhalla Shimmer for lush reverb, any reason to also get Comet?

This is my first Native Reverb.
Always used Analog and recent years SHARC DSP Based, and even more recently Strymon Big Sky.
Thought I had everything possible but noticed in the demo there was parameter modulation like an old Ursa Major Spacestation. So I bought it.
You can modulate this like old hardware, which is very desirable on certain uses, especially solo instruments or vocals.
If you really like parameter modulations this is a great effect for that.

For example I use a Concert Hall algo on my hardware unit because of its Deep Wet sound, so instead of pre delay I use an Envelope to Duck the effect, then shorten the decay instead of abrupt gating.
    A fantastic vocal effect.
I still prefer Gated Verbs on Horn Sections but if you need something special for vocals this is a great effect. I can’t sing to save my life but enjoy hearing myself.
The Tail tricks are impressive and zipper free.
