What's new

Origins of Audio: Pulse Version 1.2 out now!

Pulse Version 1.2 is here and it includes some new cool features! As stated in previous post, Pulse will work only with the full version of Native Instruments’ Kontakt 5.5.1 and higher.

On the “Export and Edit” section we’ve added three new buttons, the Export on Multiple Notes depicted as the button with the three horizontal arrows pointing to the right), the Reverse Sequence Order (depicted with the two opposite half arrows) and the Play/Loop mode (depicted with the common play/pause symbol). More over, we’ve added on the bottom of Pulse’s U.I. a display message window, so every time you press a button from the “Export and Edit” section, its message will appear on this window. Thus you will know anytime what each button do, without you having open the Kontakt’s Info Panel.

Export On Multiple Notes
This button allows you to export your sequence up to three different midi notes. So forget about plain sequencer which allows you only to export your sequence to one note! This function will save you time from copying and pasting the exported sequence to other root notes. All you have to do is turn it on, and then press your (up to) three desirable keys in which you want your sequence to be exported! It’s that simple!

Reverse Sequence Order
It does what it says! This button will reverse your sequence. By clicking it again, your sequence will come back to normal. Keep in mind that if reverse is on, then whenever you load a preset, the sequence of your preset will also be reversed!

Play/Loop mode
By turning on the Play/Loop Button you don’t have to press any key to hear your sequence. Your sequence will start in a loop, till you turn it off. Of course, you have to press a midi note first. This will come in handy if you want to experiment more with your sound and try different effects on it.

Finally, we have to tell you that inside the manual we have included a step-by-step guide about how you can import your samples, or group of samples from other instruments inside Kontakt’s engine.

On the following video we explore the new feature of Pulse, as well as the feature of the previous version, 1.1.
