Hi everyone,

here is an original composition for a chamber ensemble (fl, cl, vln, vla, vlc, pf, perc) I rendered with VSL SE+, VSL Tamtams & Gongs, and Pianoteq's Model B:

I have also created a video with the score if anyone's interested:

All and any critique is welcome and appreciated. Thank you!

Nice composition Stan, especially after mes35
Lot of interesting dissonances.
For the instruments, Yu should try another Piano (did you try ArtVista or my favorites Keyscape or Synthology ?)
How did you do the video ? with this old paper background and red timeline ?

Thank you, Guillaume. Yeah, I'm still on the fence about the piano. I do have a sampled one from VI Labs (American) and it sounds great, but I still prefer Pianoteq. Maybe I just haven't found the right settings for it, or maybe I should try the bigger models that they offer like Blüthner, Grotrian or the recent iteration of Model D. And thank you for the suggestion on Keyscape and Synthogy, I will check them out.

As for the video, I just used the standard Mac programmes: Keynote (the PowerPoint equivalent) for the background and animations, and iMovie to put everything together.
