Hello there dear Vi-Controllers!
I'm representing a band who is in need of orchestrating heavy metal songs into orchestral trailer style music. (über-epic is what we are looking for here)
It's an internationally touring professional band (quite famous in the metal scene), and we would like to know how much you would charge to basically "turn a heavy metal song into an orchestral piece of music)?
In total we are looking at orchestrating 4-5 albums, and the songs are on average 3-5 minutes long.
The mixing and mastering can be done by the bands own engineers or by you, that's open for debate.
The music itself is very compatible with orchestral arrangements and the band has performed live with an orchestra on occasion.
I can't reveal openly on the forum which band it is, but if you send me a PM here with how much per song you're looking for and include some links to your earlier work we can start with one song as a test (which you naturally will be paid for) and then if the band likes it you could get a go at a whole album or several if you'd like.
Anyway, that's all for me, thanks for your time.
/ Brojd
EDIT: I should add that we are looking for sample based work that is ready for mix & master (or already mixed)
