The 50% off upgrades is usually in the summer

Sometimes, it also happens for BF, but it's rare.

I have Komplete 12 Ultimate and I am interested in upgrading to 13, this I don't think its the same

If you read the posts in the thread it says if you activate a komplete 12 upgrade (for example komplete 12 ultimate collectors edition) in September youll get upgraded to 13 free in october. Which means that by buying a 12 upgrade for half off you could get a 50% off upgrade to 13 early.

I also remember them doing 50% off on upgrades last winter.

But aren’t the newest wave of NI instruments (Thrill, Straylight, etc.) all about enabling laziness?
