My take on a main theme transitioning to the first scene.

Hi everyone!

So for those interested, I just finished a 'soundtrack' based on the novel "The Affinity Bridge" which is the first book in a steampunk, Victorian era mystery series by UK author George Mann. The purpose of this project was to give myself the opportunity to imagine what it would be like to write a score for a big production.

For the first track of the collection, I made the executive decision that the beginning of the movie would start out with some credits and then transition into the first scene. (Would be interesting if composers actually had that power in a real situation haha) This gave me the opportunity to start with the main theme, then the transition - similar to how the Star Wars movies begin.

Anyway, this was fun. :) After the main theme, I transition to the first scene, which is an exhibition of explorers in India, who get waylaid by revenants (zombies basically) after making a grim discovery. Hope you enjoy it.

Instruments used include: Albion One, Olafur Arnolds Evos + chamber Evos, Orchestral Swarm + Mando Swarm, HZ percussion, cimbalom, Hybrid Scoring Strings by Sonixinema, Impact Soundworks Stroh violin, Berlin Woodwinds Exp 1 Oboe + flute and a dash of Albion IV.
