My take on a JRPG theme

Since I'm a huge JRPG-music fan, it's a guilty pleasure of mine trying to mimic that sound ever since I started composing.
In particular, I tried to immitate the style of the Monster Hunter theme "Proof of a Hero" (no, not the superman march-esque part though ).

Hope you like it and let me know what has to be improved!

Sounds good to me. One thing that stands out is the timpani roll, especially at 0:57, that needs some shape or a different sample. Other than that, good job. Very idiomatic in the JRPG style.

yeah, I guess I could be looking more into percussion writing/mixing in general. Also might be time for a percussion library update.
