After composing La Valse Triste I still felt compelled to try out more of Bart Hopkin's Instrumentarium creations and to go out of my "glass bubble" to explore open vistas. What better way than to imagine being in the Serengeti watching animals against the setting Sun? So here it is:
Instrumentation: ethnic style percussions rendered using experimental instruments (Miago Trod, Rattletines, Tines & Echoes) designed and built by Bart Hopkin and sampled by Soundiron. Also inspirational was Arturia Pigments v.2 incl. the Palette sound library from Simon Stockhausen / PatchPool.net. Several different types of flutes, some granular, were also used.
I hope you will enjoy and feel the warm air of the endless plains...
