I listened to "Peter and the wolf" today with my kids and thought, wow, this melody "Peter´s Theme" has been used quite a lot in commericals. I actually cannot recall which ones (I´m getting old) but wondered which other melodies have been (over-) used in commercials? Any ideas ?

No idea sorry, I just like to go completely off topic sometimes!

mac, your post was very helpful, thank you. I listened to some of the music and I must say, those epic pieces did not convince me. Kind of shows what the state of the industry is like, I mean, you can kind of always go epic, you´re never wrong with it. Not very creative. Nor beautiful.

@thov72 To be honest I think that's quite an old list now back when 'epic' was a bit thinner on the ground, hence the same cues by the same publishers being used over and over.
