It also depends on the type of vocal setting, whether lyric or modern.

A lyric "Soprano" is not te same in the "modern" vocal setting.

Anyway we have Contrarlo, Mezzo Soprano, Soprano Leggero, Soprano Drammatico, Soprano.

Alto is not for the Female Vocal.

Generally, about an f below middle c to an e below high c is a good range for female vocalists.
