I doubt it will be 3k territory. More like 4-5.5 k i guess(ofc I hope it’s 3.5k!)
Yeah me too. I thought the moog one was $5k but it’s double that new so at $4k-$5k for the muse would make sense.

He did something with muse?

He’s the one that posted that picture lol

He’s probably had it for awhile and I’m willing to bet he’ll be a part of the promotional campaign for it, Moog always tries to get him involved with new stuff they do

I thought it was called "Mirror" or something like that.

Or is that a different poly?

I can see why this thread didn't get Tracktion at first. or just how bad it is to launch a teaser campaign with conflicting info. and now with an example using iPhone mic audio.

I also thought it was another poly. I thought it was like a desktop version vs keyboard or something.

I don’t hear any “magic” for my ears (which I require in a synth to some extent to purchase) but it has a nice feature set and price for what you get.

By the marketing campaign and shelving the moog one, the moog muse seems to be aimed at live performance but can be great for studio use. The moog one was just way too big and matriarch is mono/para and no presets. The muse seems very easy at first but gets complex really fast. the probability arp is very cool, it has chord seq and other cool stuff.

The same can be said about the Minifreak, can't it? And that one is 599...

I struggle to see its value, really. About the same price as a Nina, which loses the keyboard but has 16 voices, is four part multitimbral and has motorized knobs!

The Polybrute 12 seems a better value also, with a great innovative and expressive keyboard, high quality fx and 4 more voices. And it looks way better :).

The Groove3 desktop seems another one that is crazy good at about the same price. 24 voices. 4 part multitimbral, fantastic sequencer, wavetable synthesis (create your own also...).

Of course none of them bear the name Moog, but I feel we're really paying for the name here.

The best value Moogs seem to be the Grandmother and the Subsequent 25/37, in my opinion.
